Assessment of an existing structure designed as a hotel and currently used as a multi-tenant residential space. Scope included a visual assessment of exterior facade cracking and an evaluation of the condition of the structure. The owner and developer requested a summary report with photographs and recommendations for next steps prior to the initiation of the Adaptive reuse stage of the project.

Adaptive reuse project involving a 7,000sqft existing structure built in the 1940's. Structural scope includes the repair of existing masonry walls, addition of structural exterior framing to support a new architectural facade, the analysis and subsequent reinforcement of legacy wood framing on the roof and first floor to support new culinary and MEP components.

Scope includes the design of 8-10 feet tall retaining walls for a custom 5,500 square foot two story residence. Coordination with architect of record, civil, geotechnical and mechanical engineering subconsultants.
